Honey Garlic Chicken

 

This sweet yet earthy dish will have you smacking your lips and reaching for seconds, if there are any left. For best results, the chicken can either be seared on the stove or cooked on the grill. While the boneless skinless thighs have more fat than breast, the thighs are juicier, more flavorful and perfect for this recipe.

  • Yield: 4-6 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 chicken thighs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients of sauce, set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in pan over medium high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear chicken until golden brown on both sides while glazing with sauce each time you flip, about 10 minutes per side or until it reaches internal temperature of 165 degrees
